The EuroSkills 2025 competition in Herning, Denmark concluded with an outstanding result: the Hungarian industrial robotics team won the silver medal.
The competitors, Márk Liszi and Bence János Kápolnás, students of the Alba Regia Faculty of Óbuda University, represented Hungary and our institution with dedication and expertise.
Their preparation was strongly supported by Óbuda University and Fanuc.
Special thanks to Bálint Farkas, faculty engineer at AMK, and István Bíró, Fanuc colleague, for their professional guidance!
Over the course of three days, the competitors built a fully automated manufacturing cell:
- 🛠️ designed and simulated in ROBOGUIDE,
- 🤖 assembled physically,
- 📄 prepared documentation,
- 🖥️ developed a custom user interface.
The complexity of the project reached a level typically achieved by experienced system integrator companies over weeks or even months.
This achievement is especially valuable to us, as it demonstrates that
the knowledge developed in Székesfehérvár, at the Alba Regia Faculty, stands strong on the international stage.
Congratulations to the competitors, and thank you for setting such a remarkable example!
