The AIS 2025 International Scientific Conference Concludes with Great Success – A Record Number of Participants and Valuable Professional Achievements
We are pleased to report that the AIS 2025 (20th International Symposium on Applied Informatics and Related Areas), organized once again this year by the Alba Regia Technical Faculty of Óbuda University, concluded with outstanding success. The event not only continued the traditions of previous years but also surpassed them in several respects: never before have so many domestic and international researchers, industry professionals, and university students participated, resulting in a record number of publications.
The conference was honored by the presence of Attila Mészáros, Deputy Mayor of the City of Székesfehérvár, and Prof. Dr. György Györök, Dean of our Faculty, who emphasized in their opening speeches the importance of cooperation, scientific innovation, and the technological development taking place in the region.
A Diverse and International Community of Participants
This year’s AIS 2025 conference was particularly remarkable for the large number of international attendees. In addition to neighboring countries, researchers and professionals joined us from more distant regions as well, highlighting the event’s growing significance in the international scientific community. We were also delighted to welcome representatives from regional companies, turning the conference into a true meeting point for industry and academia. Furthermore, several university students took part, gaining valuable professional experience and inspiration.
Conference Program Highlights
The conference offered a rich and engaging professional program. The plenary session featured the following presentations:
- Data Science Applications in the Financial Sector – presented by Nataliia Kuznietsova

In the afternoon sessions, participants were introduced to innovations from multiple fields of science, including:
- Applied Artificial Intelligence
- Geodesy and Geoinformatics
- Intelligent Systems and Smart Manufacturing
- Education
- Entrepreneurship and Economics
The diverse topics clearly demonstrated that digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and industrial modernization remain at the forefront of research. The poster session once again provided opportunities for lively professional discussions, while the coffee breaks served as excellent occasions for networking and informal conversations.
Positive Feedback and Participant Satisfaction
Both international and domestic guests expressed highly positive feedback regarding the organization. Many emphasized the friendly atmosphere, smooth execution, the variety of professional content, and the commitment of the organizing team. Based on these responses, we can confidently state that the AIS 2025 International Scientific Conference was not merely a professional event, but a genuine community-building experience that further strengthened our institution’s international and regional relations.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all presenters and attendees, to our domestic and foreign guests, to representatives of regional companies, and to every member of the organizing team. We trust that AIS 2025 has inspired new collaborations and provided valuable insights for both the research and industrial communities.
