Qualifications: Land surveying and land management engineer (BSc)

Form of training: full-time, correspondence

Level of education: bachelor (BSc)

Duration of training: 7 semesters (6 semesters of education + 1 semester of practical training)

The aim of the training is:
to train professionals with general knowledge in the different fields of geodesy (general geodesy, geodesy, engineering geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geoinformatics), in the application of field measurement and remote sensing technologies, in the processing of spatial data, in the visualisation of spatial information, in the related legal and management sciences, and who are prepared to enter the labour market. They are able to apply modern technologies in the fields of measurement, processing, recording, information provision and planning. They learn and apply environmentally friendly and environmentally sound technologies.

Practical training:

the practical training consists of two parts: an in-house practical training linked to the theoretical training [two weeks of geodesy field training (criterion condition), two weeks of survey field training, two weeks of complex field training] and a continuous (ten weeks) practical training. The total number of credits for the practicals is 30 credits. For students on a dual training course, each semester is followed by an in-company placement.
