Obuda University participated in the 28th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning (ICL) and the 54th IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy, held in Budapest between 01–03 October 2025.
The Alba Regia Faculty contributed with three presentations:
- The Future of Intelligent Engineering and How AI Shapes the Profession – Dr. habil Monika Pogátsnik explored how AI transforms engineering workflows and skill requirements, based on a survey of 124 alumni.
- Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Technical Pedagogy – Tímea Bekk and Dr. habil Monika Pogátsnik presented findings from a study involving 125 educators, highlighting opportunities and risks of AI in teaching.
- Cybersecurity Awareness and Soft Skills in Higher Education – Judit Módné Takács, Nikoletta Tolner, and Dr. Tünde Máté introduced an interactive eLearning curriculum developed from focus group research on students’ online behaviour and emotional responses to cyber threats.
The conference provided a valuable platform for sharing innovative approaches in engineering education and digital transformation.
