Research Group of Mechatronic Applications

The Research Group of Mechatronic Applications operates within the Institute of Engineering at the Alba Regia Faculty of Óbuda University. Its activities cover a wide spectrum of mechatronic and interdisciplinary engineering research, connected to industrial, agricultural, energy, and healthcare applications alike. Our research focuses on the development of embedded and industrial control systems, as well as electronic circuits, which form the foundation of modern automation and control solutions. We carry out our work using state-of-the-art engineering tools, simulation methods, and experimental testing.

Research areas:

  • Embedded and industrial controllers
  • Development of electronic circuits
  • Electric drives and vehicles
  • Validation of renewable energy sources
  • Mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Support of crop production technologies
  • Automation in livestock farming
