“Automated Detection of Pavement Defects from Drone Imagery”
The primary objective of the thesis was to replace traditional road condition assessment methods, which are often time-consuming, labor-intensive, and subject to human interpretation. The research developed an automated, high-accuracy workflow based on drone imagery, offering effective support for the rapid and reliable evaluation of transportation infrastructure conditions.
This award reflects the innovative mindset of the students of the Alba Regia Faculty and highlights the high-quality educational and research activities carried out within the Institute.
We warmly congratulate László Márkus on this achievement and wish him continued success in his professional career.
Congratulations to all award recipients, and thank you to every applicant whose work contributes to the achievements and ongoing development of Óbuda University’s innovation community.
