Sports – Innovation – Management Research Group
Our Research Group focuses on the economics of sports, which is relevant to urban, regional, and national development.
Related to this, our research centers on operational and business competitiveness at the micro, meso, and macro levels, with three pillars: different economic systems, different operational models, and various forms of internationalization. From a functional perspective, significant attention is given to sports marketing, sports innovation, and HR issues in sports, which have three dimensions: business, social, and sports-specific implications. From the perspective of sports economics, the subject encompasses the following areas: recreational and professional sports; spectator sports that meet the five criteria for media viability; and youth development in relation to talent development and career management.
