Traditional events
Many traditional events are held on campus every year, some of which are:
Cultivating Selmec traditions, Trade nights, Marble party, Pumpkin carving, Cooking together outdoors, Santa Claus celebrations.
Excursions
In autumn and spring, we organise excursions for teachers and students. The excursion, a walk in nature, is a good opportunity to have a good chat and admire the landscape.
Freshers’ Camp (a camp for first-year students)
A camp where you can spend several days relaxing before the busy start of university life, where you can meet future classmates, make lifelong friends and get all your questions answered.
Freshers’ tour (city tour for first-year students)
After the opening of the academic year, students will take over the city centre of Székesfehérvár in the evening. Changing their festive clothes for a T-shirt, they set off on a freshman tour of Székesfehérvár’s iconic sites.
In teams of 10, they take over the city centre and solve tasks in the two hours available.
Freshers’ Ball (first-year students’ ball)
Every year, the Székesfehérvár Higher Education Freshers’ Ball welcomes first-year university students studying in the city. The party goes on until dawn with the selection of prom queen and prom king, a raffle and of course great music. In a classic prom setting, the city’s first-year students can have fun and get to know each other in a truly elegant setting.
