Programme Objectives

The aim of the programme is to educate mechatronics engineers who are capable of synergistically integrating mechanical engineering with electronics, electrical engineering, and computer-based control systems. Graduates will be able to carry out routine design tasks related to mechatronic equipment, processes, and intelligent machines, as well as operate and maintain such systems.

They will be prepared to introduce and apply mechatronic technologies, organize process and production management in an energy-efficient and environmentally conscious manner, and perform engineering development and design tasks of moderate complexity while taking into account the requirements of the international labour market. Graduates will also be well prepared to continue their studies at the master’s level.

Professional Internship

The programme includes a professional internship of at least six weeks, organized at an approved industrial placement site. Completing the internship is a mandatory graduation requirement.

Students participating in the dual education programme undertake company-based practical training following each academic study period.
