Name of the project: Urban Eco-environmental Spatial Information Retrieval and Analysis Model with Remote Sensing
Duration: 2014.01.01-2015.05.31.
Founding source: National Research, Development and Innovation Fund
Aims: Through the Sino-Hungarian cooperation and based on Chinese and European satellite data, combining basic information of urban environment elements, such as land resources, water bodies, vegetation cover, terrain and other background data, the aim is to study the Sino-Hungarian urban eco-environmental spatial information quantitative retrieval and evaluation model with high-resolution remote sensing, to develop remote sensing-based urban eco-environmental Spatial Information Extraction and Analysis model.
Partners:
- Faculty of Geoinformatics, University of West Hungary
- Institute of Remote Sensing Applications Chinese Academy of Sciences
Outcomes: Exchange the GIS & RS technologies in evaluating urban eco-environment of both countries to validate that the established urban eco-environmental model can be suitable for both countries.
