Alba Regia Technical Faculity, Óbuda University and IBM Delivery Centre CE Hungary (both located in Székesfehérvár) in cooperation start their dual study program in September 2015 in the University’s IT Engineering BSc.
What is Dual Study Program or Dual Education?
During this education from your first semester you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice immediately at IBM. It means that you will spend 72 weeks altogether at the university, where the professors will teach you all of the needed theoretical knowledge of IT Engineering. During the 7 semesters you will spend 69 weeks at IBM DCCE Hungary, where our professionals will show you how it works in real life in a multinational environment. During this 69 weeks there will be mainly technical labs and you can expect workshops in some soft skill areas. You can see it closely how we provide support on 1st, 2nd or last level to our clients, how we operate on different platforms (Windows, Linux, AIX, z/OS – Mainframe) how we manage storage, database usage, service management and a lot more. You will feel part of our team – part of the local and the big blue global team.
After you successfully finish your practice-oriented dual program, you will be a greatly experienced entrant to the world of work!

What can you expect after the application?
- Your application and CV is going to be reviewed by our team
- We are going to inform you if you are invited to a Student Assessment Center for the dual program or not
- If selected, we are going to inform you about the date and time of the Assessment Center
- During the Assessment Center you will write a simple IT test, a personality test, will work in a situational exercise and will be tested in spoken English too.
